Parkesburg Borough Police Department is accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for immediate full-time police officer hires; applications are due August 10, 2026.
The Parkesburg Borough Police Department will accept applications through 4:00 PM on Monday, August 10, 2026; forms are available on the department’s CrimeWatch site or at the police station. A written exam will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Parkesburg Borough Hall (doors open 7:30 AM, exam begins 8:00 AM), followed immediately by physical agility testing at the Octorara Area School District campus. Candidates who pass those steps will be invited to oral interviews and, if moving forward, will undergo polygraph and psychological examinations and a background check before a conditional offer and final medical exam.
