Parkesburg Police Join Blue Beards for Charity 2026
Parkesburg officers grow facial hair and donate to the Parkesburg Community Policing Fund during October and November to support local charitable efforts.
Blue Beards for Charity is an annual Chester County campaign in which Parkesburg Borough Police officers make charitable donations and temporarily relax grooming standards to grow facial hair during the fall months (typically October–December). Department members make bi-weekly donations to the Parkesburg Community Policing Fund, with contributions in October and November allocated to Blue Beards; members of the public can donate by check payable to the Parkesburg Community Policing Fund (memo: "BLUE BEARDS") and drop off or mail to Parkesburg Borough Police Department, "BLUE BEARDS", 315 W. First Avenue, Bldg. 2, Parkesburg, PA 19365 — a receipt will be provided.
