Patricia Lynne Schorn arrested for open lewdness in Ephrata
Ephrata woman was observed relieving herself in public on E. Main Street and later arrested on an open lewdness charge; held in Lancaster County Prison on $5,000 cash bail.
The Ephrata Police Department arrested 69-year-old Patricia Lynne Schorn after an officer on bike patrol observed her relieving herself in the 1st block of E. Main Street at about 1 a.m. on October 2, 2026. Schorn told the officer she was relieving herself because no bathrooms were available; the location was not concealed and could be seen by passersby. She was picked up on an arrest warrant on October 5, arraigned by MDJ Landis and committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $5,000 cash bail; she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
