Patrick William Mctighe, 51, of Ephrata, was charged with driving under the influence — general impairment — after an Ephrata officer arrived at a three-vehicle collision at S. State Street and Parkview Heights Road on July 2, 2026, at 8:52 p.m. Officers determined Mctighe displayed signs of impairment and he refused to submit to a chemical breath test. Charges were filed through MDJ Landis' office on July 13, 2026; Mctighe is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
