Paxtang Halloween Parade Tomorrow — Road Closures Begin After 6 PM
Parade begins at 7:00 PM on Oct. 27; road closures start shortly after 6:00 PM. Drivers should use detours or avoid the area and expect heavy pedestrian traffic.
Paxtang Borough's annual Halloween Parade is tomorrow night (10/27/26) at 7:00 PM, triggering road closures on Derry Street (both directions between 30th Street and Wilhelm Road), Paxtang Avenue (Derry Street to Montour Street), Montour Street (Paxtang Avenue to Wilhelm Road) and Wilhelm Road (Montour Street to Derry Street). Closures begin shortly after 6:00 PM; detours will be in place and fire police will assist motorists. Authorities ask drivers to use alternate routes or be patient, and to drive cautiously this week because multiple Halloween events in and around Harrisburg will increase pedestrian and vehicular traffic. — Swatara Township Police Department
