Penn State senior Billy Schmidt shot, killed near his Philadelphia home
About 1:30 a.m., he was walking home after watching the NBA finals with friends at a local bar when he was shot a few yards from his house.
A Penn State University student was shot and killed Saturday morning near his Philadelphia home.
Billy Schmidt, 22, was walking home at about 1:30 a.m. when he was shot on the 1900 block of Durfor Street, only a few yards from his home. He had been coming back from a local bar where he had been watching the NBA finals with friends, news reports said.
