Penn Township to Close Mount Hope Road Sept. 15–17 (Daytime)
Mount Hope Road between Route 72 and Mountain Road will be closed during daytime hours Sept. 15–17 for installation of storm boxes and pipes; emergency vehicles, school buses and mail carriers will be allowed through with caution.
Penn Township Public Works announced that Mount Hope Road between Route 72 and Mountain Road will be closed during daytime hours Tuesday, Sept. 15 through Thursday, Sept. 17 to install storm boxes and pipes. Emergency vehicles, school buses and mail carriers will be able to pass with caution; drivers should follow posted detours, the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department advised.
