Penn Twp. closes Mount Hope Road Sept. 15–17 for storm work
Mount Hope Road will be closed during daytime hours Sept. 15–17 between Route 72 and Mountain Road for storm box and pipe installation.
Penn Township Public Works has announced that Mount Hope Road between Route 72 and Mountain Road will be closed during daytime hours Tuesday, Sept. 15 through Thursday, Sept. 17 to allow installation of storm boxes and pipes. Emergency vehicles, school buses and mail carriers will be able to get through with caution. The Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department advises motorists to follow posted detours and travel safely.
