Pennridge Regional Police officers responded to 163 incidents during the week of July 19–25 and issued 60 traffic citations and warnings. Notable reports included thefts of a spare tire and a large propane tank, a nearly $3,000 bank fraud, juveniles trespassing at M&M Quarry, and an intentional hit-and-run where a vehicle struck a motorcycle; the driver has been identified and charges are pending. Arrests included a 44-year-old man found with fentanyl smoking paraphernalia and a 21-year-old charged with DUI after a stop that produced a 0.12% BAC; traffic crashes involved an Amazon van striking a parked Subaru, an International box truck hitting a road sign, and a Honda hitting a telephone pole while avoiding a loose dog.
