Pennsylvania farmers encouraged to apply for $13M in tax credits

Pennsylvania Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding is encouraging state farmers to apply for $13 million in tax credits designed to improve soil health and water quality on their farms.
Speaking at the Pennsylvania No-Till Alliance’s Soil Health Field Day at Flinchbaugh Orchard in York County, Redding highlighted tax credits available through the state’s Resource Enhancement and Protection (REAP) program. The program helps farmers implement conservation practices that protect the environment while supporting farm profitability.
