Person of interest sought after purse stolen from vehicle in Chambersburg
Chambersburg Police seek help identifying a person seen on an e-bike after a purse was stolen from a vehicle on Glen Street in the early hours of Sept. 28, 2026.
On September 28, 2026, Chambersburg Police responded to the 300 block of Glen St. after a large burgundy purse with brown pockets was stolen from a vehicle at approximately 03:47 a.m. A person on an e-bike captured in police photos is a person of interest (case 2026-10435); anyone with information should contact the Chambersburg Police Department at 717-264-4131 or submit a tip through Crimewatch.
