Pike man sentenced for possession of child sexual abuse material
A Dingman Township man pleaded guilty to possessing child sexual abuse material and was sentenced to 8–23 months in county jail, fined $1,000 and must register as a sex offender for 15 years.
Milford, Pa. — Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin announced that 41-year-old Adam Rufrano of Dingman Township pleaded guilty to possession of child sexual abuse material, a third-degree felony; President Judge Gregory H. Chelak sentenced him to not less than eight months up to 23 months in the Pike County Correctional Facility and fined him $1,000. Detectives, with assistance from the Port Jervis Police Department, discovered child sexual abuse images during a manual search of Rufrano's phone in a dispatcher hiring process; Rufrano admitted to visiting the website and "watching whatever strikes his fantasy that day and sometimes barely legal and younger stuff comes up," and he must register under Pennsylvania's Megan's Law for 15 years.
