Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin says 46-year-old Patrick Veasey of Westfall Township was sentenced by President Judge Gregory H. Chelak to not less than 30 months and up to 78 months in a state correctional facility and fined $1,000 after pleading guilty to possession of child sexual abuse material. Charges were filed Oct. 23, 2024; detectives acted on information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, obtained a search warrant, and with the Pennsylvania State Police Computer Crime Unit found child sexual abuse images on an electronic device. Veasey, who had been held at the Pike County correctional facility, will be transferred to a state prison to begin his sentence.
