Police seek tips after fatal stabbing in Columbia
Columbia Borough police are asking for tips after a 26-year-old man was found fatally stabbed on Linden Street early Wednesday.
Police found 26-year-old Anthony Stoy-Velazquez of Marietta shortly before 1 a.m. in the eastbound lane of the 200 block of Linden Street with an apparent stab wound to his chest; officers and EMS were unable to save him. The Lancaster County Coroner's Office has not yet determined the cause or manner of death, and investigators are interviewing witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage as part of a homicide probe.
