Post offices closed Sept. 7 for Labor Day; some kiosks to stay open
All U.S. Postal Service locations will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, for Labor Day; select self-service kiosks will remain available.
There are just over two weeks until Labor Day and with that, millions of Americans will have the day off from work. That includes U.S. Postal Service employees, as all post office locations will be closed in observance of the holiday, which happens on Monday, Sept. 7.
