Probationer Taken into Custody After Found Firearm, Intoxication
A found firearm at a Montour Blvd residence led to a probation violation arrest after officers discovered the suspect was intoxicated and in possession of the weapon.
On July 3, 2026 at about 10:53 a.m., Officer Jordan responded to a Montour Blvd residence for a reported found firearm and determined the weapon was in the possession of a man on probation. The man was found to be intoxicated in violation of probation orders prohibiting alcohol use; Officer Jordan placed him in custody at the direction of Columbia County Adult Probation, which assumed custody.
