Purse stolen from shopping cart at East Lampeter Township Walmart

East Lampeter Township police are asking the public to help identify a suspect who removed a customer’s purse from a shopping cart and stole it from the Walmart at 2034 Lincoln Highway East around 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 6, 2026. A store patron had accidentally left her purse in the car and discovered it missing when she returned; two photos of the suspect are attached to the police post. Anyone with information should call East Lampeter Township Police at 717-291-4676 or submit an anonymous tip — information that leads to an arrest and conviction may qualify for a Crime Stoppers reward.
