Raul Santiz Hernandez arrested after brief North Charleston police pursuit
A 24-year-old was arrested after allegedly leading officers on a brief pursuit and discarding beer during the chase.
A North Charleston man, 24-year-old Raul Santiz Hernandez, was arrested after allegedly leading police on a short pursuit that ended when he stopped in a residential yard. Officers say Hernandez was observed weaving, failed to stop when emergency lights were activated, discarded beer cans and a case of beer during the chase, exited the vehicle against orders, and was charged with Failure to Stop for Blue Lights, Open Container of Beer, and Driving without a South Carolina driver’s license; outstanding Summerville warrants were also found and he was booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center.
