Recent Arrest Summary — Mesa County (July 24–26, 2026)

Mesa County law enforcement arrested five people July 24–26, 2026, in Grand Junction, Clifton and DeBeque on various charges including warrants, assault, protection order violations and DUI. On July 24 at about 2:20 p.m., Grand Junction police arrested 29-year-old Nolan Hall on a Montrose County warrant and multiple Grand Junction charges; he also faces Mesa County warrants for multiple protection order violations and harassment from July 7 and July 18 and remained in the Mesa County Detention Facility on a cash-only bond of $20,200. Also: July 24 at about 9:30 p.m. Genevieve Mata, 24, was arrested for third-degree assault, criminal mischief ($300–$1,000) and domestic violence; July 25 Daniel Schneider, 22, was arrested at Jason Lane on two counts of violating a protection order and obstructing a peace officer; July 26 at noon Matthew Lyman, 36, was found initially unresponsive on I-70 Business Loop and 32 Rd., smelled of alcohol, later registered more than double the DUI threshold and was booked for DUI, DUI per se and an open container; and on June 26 deputies arrested Casey Mathis, 35, in DeBeque after she fled a stop and threatened officers, booking her on four active warrants (including alcohol-related restrictions and a revoked habitual traffic offender license), DUI, careless driving, violation of a protection order, resisting arrest and obstructing a peace officer.
