Residents defend voter drop boxes near college campuses
Residents voiced support at a Northampton County Board of Elections meeting for adding secured ballot drop boxes near Lehigh and Lafayette college campuses.
Residents from townships across Northampton County attended Tuesday’s Board of Elections meeting to leave public comments backing the implementation of additional voter drop boxes near Lehigh and Lafayette college campuses. According to the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, drop boxes are physical ballot boxes that are secured using video surveillance.
