Retail theft at Wegmans in Lower Makefield: ex-employee cited
A known ex-employee allegedly stole $147.44 in merchandise from the Wegmans on Vansant Drive; a summons was issued.
Lower Makefield Township police reported a retail theft at the Wegmans on the 900 block of Vansant Drive. On June 25 a known female ex-employee reportedly placed multiple items in a cart, changed clothing, added more items and left without paying, removing $147.44 worth of merchandise; a summons was filed for the 46-year-old Lower Makefield Township woman. The incident was reported at 3:54 p.m. on July 1, 2026.
