Robert Orlando Jones, 28, arrested after fentanyl found in vehicle in Ladson
North Charleston Police say officers found burnt tinfoil and a pink powder testing presumptively positive for fentanyl in a vehicle after responding to a report of an unconscious driver at Mosby Ingleside Apartments.
North Charleston Police responded just after midnight Aug. 10 to the Mosby Ingleside Apartments in Ladson after a report of an unconscious driver. Firefighters were attempting to wake the driver, identified as 28-year-old Robert Orlando Jones of Summerville, who told officers he had fallen asleep while spotting vehicles for a towing company. Officers say they saw burnt tinfoil in the center console and found a second foil containing about 1.70 grams of a pink powder that field-tested presumptively positive for fentanyl; Jones was detained after becoming argumentative and booked on a charge of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl at the Al Cannon Detention Center.
