On September 14, 2026, at approximately 7:02 p.m., Pocono Township police responded to a two-vehicle crash at SR0611 and SR0314 in Swiftwater. Officers found that 64-year-old Robert P. Jurewicz of Rockaway, NJ, made an unsafe left turn that caused the collision; he was arrested for driving under the influence and toxicology showed a BAC of 0.092%.
