Hanover Township Police arrested 34-year-old Ross Ogorman Jr. following a motor vehicle pursuit that ended in a motorcycle crash on South Main Street on June 27, 2026. Officers say Ogorman — who had active warrants from Luzerne and Columbia counties — was found with a concealed firearm, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia; he was treated at a hospital, arraigned June 30 with $100,000 bail set straight, and remanded to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility on multiple charges including Persons Not to Possess Firearms, firearms not to be carried without a license, fleeing/attempting to elude, flight to avoid apprehension, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
