Lititz Borough Police filed a criminal complaint against 37-year-old Ryman Michael Schlack alleging domestic violence — two counts of strangulation (applying pressure to the throat or neck, F2) and one count of simple assault (M2). On Aug. 26, officers interviewed the victim, went to Schlack’s home and brought him to the station; he requested EMS for open wounds on his arms and was taken to Lancaster General Hospital. After medical clearance he was handcuffed, transported to Lancaster County Prison, held following an immediate preliminary arraignment, and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled.
