Scott bill would add interest costs to CBO estimates

U.S. Sen. Rick Scott, R‑Fla., is pushing legislation that would require federal budget scorekeepers to include the cost of servicing the public debt in every estimate. He says including interest costs would give taxpayers a fuller picture of what proposed bills actually cost.
