Serial bank robber Marc Masich sentenced to 9 to 18 years in state prison
A New York man was sentenced after pleading guilty or no-contest to six bank robberies committed across southeastern Pennsylvania in December 2024.
Marc Masich, 48, of Amherst, N.Y., was sentenced July 29, 2026, to nine to 18 years in state prison after entering a no-contest plea to one robbery and guilty pleas to five others for a series of bank robberies in 2024. Judge Raymond F. McHugh ordered consecutive 18–36 month terms per count, $20,255 in restitution, and no contact with the six affected banks or employees. Masich was arrested Dec. 23, 2024, after a PNC Bank robbery in Bensalem; he confessed and admitted to three additional robberies at Santander and Truist locations earlier that month, and the case was handled jointly by local police, the FBI and the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.
