Seven arrests in Mesa County after assaults, DUI and protection-order violations
Deputies arrested seven people across Mesa County from Sept. 10–13, 2026, in incidents including assaults, a DUI with a child passenger and alleged protection-order violations.
Between Sept. 10 and 13, 2026, Mesa County Sheriff’s deputies made multiple arrests in Clifton, Mesa, Grand Junction and the Whitewater area. Arrests included Alvin Leva Martinez (assault and domestic violence; released on a $1,500 PR bond), Jason Fitzsimmons (two protection-order violations and telephone harassment; released on a $1,000 cash bond), Jason Gullion (robbery of an at-risk person, motor vehicle theft, assault; held on a $250 cash-only bond), Christina Miller (third-degree assault and protection-order violation), Nicholas Ellis (DUI, child abuse-negligence and driving violations), and Heather Burdock and Kevin Rohracker (obstructing officers; Rohracker also charged with resisting arrest and an active theft warrant).
