On May 9, 2024, a report was filed with the Plumstead Township Police Department alleging Shawn Touhill, 51, obtained $105,000 from a victim by making false and misleading material statements to induce an investment in a business venture. Touhill was charged in case PT-24-02517 with theft by deception and deceptive business practices; his July 29, 2026 appearance is before Judge Barton and bail was set at $50,000.
