Parkesburg police arrested 26-year-old Shaynah Lynn Bates on July 4, 2026, on charges of domestic assault and related offenses following an incident at about 3:00 p.m. in the 500 block of West First Avenue. Bates, described as a 5'2", 100 lb white female with blue eyes and blonde hair, was transported to the Chester County Central Booking Center for arraignment and will have a preliminary hearing set at District Court 15-3-07.
