On June 30, 2026, Trainer Borough Police and the Delaware County Drug Task Force arrested 45-year-old Solomon Edward Carter of Chester after executing court-authorized search warrants at a Chester residence and an associated vehicle. Officers seized suspected cocaine and marijuana, evidence of narcotics trafficking, a firearm, ammunition and U.S. currency; Carter — who is prohibited from possessing firearms under Pennsylvania law — was charged with Possession of Firearm Prohibited (F2), Possession with Intent to Deliver (F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M) and Possession of Marijuana (M), and held on $150,000 cash bail set by Magisterial District Judge David Griffin.
