Son arrested, charged with criminal homicide in mother's death in Sewickley Township
Troopers say surveillance footage shows the son arguing with and then assaulting his mother on the front porch; he was arrested and denied bail.
Pennsylvania State Police charged Jakob Korber with a single count of criminal homicide after his mother, Christin Hamilton, was found severely injured Sunday on the front porch of a Herminie West Newton Road residence in Sewickley Township. A relative called 911 after finding Hamilton, and investigators reviewed surveillance video that troopers say shows Korber arguing with and then violently assaulting her using his hands, feet and multiple objects. Korber was taken into custody Sunday evening, arraigned and denied bail; charges are accusations and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
