South Lebanon Township Joins Statewide Aggressive Driving Enforcement
From July 6 to August 16, 2026, South Lebanon Township police will join a statewide crackdown on aggressive driving to reduce crashes and fatalities.
Beginning July 6 through August 16, 2026, the South Lebanon Township Police Department will join the Pennsylvania State Police and about 300 municipal agencies in a targeted aggressive driving enforcement initiative. Officers will focus on speeding, tailgating, red light and heavy truck violations, pedestrian safety and other unsafe driving behaviors; drivers observed committing aggressive violations may be stopped and cited. The effort is part of Pennsylvania’s Highway Safety Program and is funded by PennDOT with federal funds from NHTSA.
