State forestry teams honored for fighting 2025 wildfires
Two state forestry teams were honored by Gov. Josh Shapiro for their response to wildfires that scorched more than 3,200 acres in Pennsylvania during 2025.
Gov. Josh Shapiro recognized two teams of state forestry workers this week for their response to major wildfires that burned more than 3,200 acres across Pennsylvania in 2025, the Shapiro administration said in a news release.
