Former steelworkers or guides trained by steelworkers lead sidewalk and Hoover-Mason Trestle tours across the Bethlehem Steel plant site, departing from the National Museum of Industrial History lobby at 602 E. Second Street. The 1+ hour, rain-or-shine tours cover ironmaking in the Lehigh Valley, the Bethlehem Plant’s history and wartime role, surviving buildings, surrounding ethnic neighborhoods and worker life, and conclude with a question-and-answer session.
