Former steelworkers or guides trained by steelworkers lead sidewalk and Hoover-Mason Trestle tours of the Bethlehem Steel plant site in partnership with the National Museum of Industrial History. Tours depart rain or shine from the NMIH lobby at 602 E. Second Street, Bethlehem, cover the evolution of ironmaking in the Lehigh Valley, the plant’s history from opening to closing and its role in World Wars I and II, and conclude after an hour-plus with a question-and-answer session.
