Stephanie J. Mickle arrested on retail theft charge at Boot Barn

Manheim Township police say a 59-year-old woman was charged after allegedly switching boots and leaving Boot Barn without paying; she was extradited and is held on $100,000 bail.

Stephanie J. Mickle, 59, of Perryville, MD, was charged after a March 10, 2026, incident at Boot Barn (898 Plaza Blvd) in which she allegedly placed her own ankle boots on a shelf, put a store pair of boots (valued at $229.95) on her feet, purchased another item using her rewards information, and left without paying. A warrant was issued March 17, 2026 (Docket MJ-02102-CR-0000143-2026) and a criminal complaint filed; she was positively identified by her Delaware license photo and has two prior retail-theft convictions. Manheim Township police say Mickle was extradited July 12, 2026, arraigned and remains in Lancaster County Prison on $100,000 bail; the warrant was canceled.
