Storm damage closes roads, Memorial Park in Mechanicsburg

The traffic light at East Simpson Street and Shepherdstown Road is operating on a generator after a power outage; drivers should use caution, avoid moving barricades or driving through flooded roadways, treat unpowered signals as four-way stops, and expect prioritized, staged clearing by emergency crews — contact emergency services as needed.
