The Summit Park District posted on Facebook at about 4:00 PM with a notice for tonight’s 3rd of July celebration. The fireworks show may begin as early as 8:45 PM; if weather permits, organizers plan to start between 9:15 and 9:30 PM. Attendees are asked to arrive early, be patient, and follow directions from event staff to ensure a safe event.
