Summons filed for ex-employee after $147.44 theft at Wegmans
A 46-year-old former employee is accused of taking $147.44 in merchandise from the Wegmans on Vansant Drive; a summons was filed.
Loss prevention at the Wegmans in the 900 block of Vansant Drive reported that a known 46-year-old female, identified as a former employee, entered the store on June 25, placed multiple items in her cart, changed clothing and added more items before leaving without paying. She removed $147.44 worth of merchandise and a summons was filed by Lower Makefield Township police after the incident was reported July 1.
