Supreme Court clears way for Louisiana to redraw congressional map
The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday night put into effect its ruling that struck down Louisiana’s current congressional map, allowing lawmakers to begin drawing a new map immediately.
The U.S. Supreme Court late Monday night implemented its ruling that struck down Louisiana’s existing congressional map. With the decision in effect, state lawmakers can immediately begin drafting a replacement map, The Center Square reports.
