Supreme Court hears Cisco bid to dismiss Falun Gong lawsuit
Tech firm asks justices to dismiss claims it should be held liable for China's persecution of the Falun Gong spiritual movement.
On Tuesday the US Supreme Court heard Cisco’s bid to toss out a lawsuit alleging the tech giant should be held liable for the persecution in China of the Falun Gong spiritual movement. The case asks justices to decide whether Cisco can be sued over its alleged role in human rights abuses abroad.
