Swatara Police Join Statewide Aggressive-Driving Enforcement July 6–Sept 5
Swatara Township Police will join the Pennsylvania State Police and about 300 municipal agencies for a targeted aggressive-driving enforcement wave from July 6–September 5; any aggressive driver stopped will be ticketed.
The Swatara Township Police Department will join the Pennsylvania State Police and roughly 300 municipal agencies in a targeted aggressive-driving enforcement wave from July 6 through September 5. Officers will ticket any aggressive driver and focus enforcement on heavy truck violations, pedestrian safety, red-light running, speeding, tailgating and other unsafe behaviors. The campaign is part of Pennsylvania’s Highway Safety Program and is funded by PennDOT using federal NHTSA funds.
