Teagan English arrested on child endangerment and aggravated assault charges
District Attorney: Recordings show threats and physical abuse of a 4-year-old; bail set at $400,000.
Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin announced on July 28, 2026 that 25-year-old Teagan English of Matamoras Borough was charged with endangering the welfare of children, aggravated assault (victim under 6), false imprisonment of a minor and terroristic threats. Detectives obtained a search warrant, seized two cell phones and say recordings show English berating and threatening his 4-year-old, barricading the child in a room monitored by camera and a video of the child being forcefully lifted and slammed; bail was set at $400,000 and English is due in Pike County Central Court on August 4, 2026.
