Thank you for a great Bensalem Township Fall Festival
Bensalem Township thanks residents and responders after its Annual Fall Festival, which featured K9 and Motor Patrol demonstrations, retirements and new team introductions.
Bensalem Township Police and Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo thanked everyone who attended the Annual Fall Festival this past Saturday, which featured food, music, family activities and demonstrations by the Bensalem Police K9 Unit and Motor Patrol. The event recognized retiring Motor Patrol Officers Tim Henehan (who performed in the show each year since 2005) and Brian McMahon, included Officer Bryan Hearn’s first Motor Patrol show, and marked a final K9 demonstration for Sergeant Kevin Howard and his partner Jango (who participated in 12 of the last 13 shows). The K9 Unit introduced new teams—Officer Ricky Alvarez with Champ and Officer Ryan Bones with Bolo—and organizers thanked police, fire, EMS, Parks & Rec, Public Works and civilian personnel for making the event possible.
