The surprising reason the Raiders are still unbeaten
After a 3-14 2025 season and the No. 1 draft pick, the Las Vegas Raiders have opened 3-0, energized by veteran QB Kirk Cousins and a stronger defense ahead of a Week 4 meeting with the unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs.
The Las Vegas Raiders were not expected to be one of the NFL’s biggest stories through the first three weeks of the season. After finishing 3-14 in 2025 and earning the No. 1 draft pick, many people thought the Raiders were headed for another rebuilding year. Instead, they enter Week 4 with a 3-0 record and a huge matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Much of that turnaround has been tied to veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins, who has helped change the feeling around the franchise in just a few weeks.
