The Wall That Heals visits Delaware County
The three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and its mobile Education Center is on display in Aston Township, open 24 hours beginning tomorrow through the Closing Ceremony on Sunday, October 11 at 1:45 p.m.
Yesterday the Wall That Heals procession traveled through Delaware County, beginning at the Delaware County Veterans Memorial in Newtown Square and concluding at the Aston Township Community Center. The exhibit is a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., with a mobile Education Center, and will be open 24 hours a day beginning tomorrow through the Closing Ceremony on Sunday, October 11 at 1:45 p.m. Residents are encouraged to visit to honor and remember Vietnam Veterans; Upper Chichester Township Police Department thanked Aston Township for hosting the memorial.
