Third Arrest in Burglaries at Corner Joynt Tavern, Lucky 7 and Mars Bar
Summit detectives arrested 22-year-old Sincere M. Lanier of Chicago and charged him with multiple burglary and criminal damage counts tied to break-ins on March 31, 2026.
On March 31, 2026, masked individuals burglarized Corner Joynt Tavern (7600 W. 60th Pl.), and detectives later identified one offender as 22-year-old Sincere M. Lanier of Chicago. Lanier was taken into custody by Summit detectives and charged with three counts of burglary, two counts of criminal damage to property ($10,000–$100,000), and one count of criminal damage to property greater than $100,000; he is scheduled to appear at Bridgeview Courthouse for a detention hearing. While in Summit custody he was also charged by surrounding agencies for offenses in Oak Lawn, Posen and Worth; all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
