Three DeLand Police Lieutenants Graduate From Command Programs
Lieutenants Mike Stacy and Jean Casseus graduated from Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff & Command; Lieutenant Nick Mathis completed the University of Louisville’s Command Officer Development Course.
DeLand Police Department announced that Lieutenants Mike Stacy and Jean Casseus graduated from Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command, while Lieutenant Nick Mathis completed the University of Louisville’s Command Officer Development Course. The department said the rigorous, prestigious programs provide cutting‑edge strategies for excellence in policing and continue a legacy that includes Police Chief Jason Umberger (2008) and Deputy Chief Adam Kisthardt (2009), both Northwestern graduates.
