On August 4, 2026, at approximately 1600 hours North Middleton Township Police responded to a motor vehicle crash near 1010 Harrisburg Pike. Unit 2 and Unit 3 were stopped at a red signal when Unit 1 failed to stop and struck the rear of Unit 2, propelling Unit 2 into Unit 3. Unit 1 sustained heavy front-end damage, Unit 2 moderate rear damage, and Unit 3 minor rear damage; no injuries were reported.
